Some moves I get right away. When I attempt them and conquer them I think 'wow, that sounded hard and I pulled it off. yay me.'

 I was coming home from my run this evening (3.3 miles, yay me!) and a Black Cat crossed my path. It crossed my path, then doubled back, came back towards me and flopped itself at my feet, belly up. I bent down and scratched his belly and his ears, talked to him a little bit then went on my way back home.

It's one of The Girl's books. She was so wrapped up in it when she was reading it I decided I would give it a whirl. The book's got just about everything a tween / almost teen could love. There's forbidden teenage love, best friends, absent parents. 

Perfect fantasy for a kid her age. Or so I thought . . . .

"What's that?" "WHAT'S THAT?" Who thinks they could be Chuck Norris for Halloween and not know what a roundhouse kick is?

I also went to my sisters' house and spent a day with them. 
Our original plan was to drive to LA to Olvera Street. Turns out the Dodgers had a day game which would have screwed up LA's already messed up traffic, so we decided to stay local. 

Turned out to be a good thing.

While we were there, Hubby met up with some of his friends from college. We took in a super fun baseball game. (Go Crabs!) We went to the Oyster Festival.

Everyone should exercise. That last sentence applies to me, doubly. I'm not really averse to exercise, I just don't do it enough. I need to exercise more. (In case you were wondering, that's not the epiphany part.)

I've tried P90X, going to the gym, and walking but I didn't really enjoy then. When I've had  a bad day at work, or when work gets stressful I have "The Geneva Pizza  Dream." Geneva Pizza was a bit of a stressful place to work. I worked there for a few years and then I quit. I quit by  walking out in the middle of my shift in hysterics. A customer gave me a ride home.

The purpose of this list item was to save a bit of money. 
Lunch costs a lot of money in downtown San Francisco.  Figure a trip to the salad bar at 7.99/lb or a sandwich at $6.99 plus a drink, plus some fruit to have later in the day. That totally adds up. I go every year and have a lot of fun. I'm one of "those" people who fill up on samples and free stuff to take home. This year was no exception. I came home with 500ml boxes of coconut water (yum), a big bag of salt water taffy, and various little samples of chocolates and salt.
Some of my favorite areas to visit at Fancy Food Show are the cheese aisles. I remember not only liking it, but liking it a lot and being really happy when she made it. Today I can't imagine putting a spoonful of this in my mouth. It probably won't taste as yummy anymore and would need to be washed down with a bottle of Siracha.
